At the same time, Zoe grows more and more frustrated with Ryan’s bullying behaviour, and his shameful neglect. I like a change of scene sometimes: While the writing style is clearly the same, with cheeky charm and a flirty feel, the characters and settings are very much part of their own world. She meets the employer from hell, he is dismissive, arrogant and utterly gorgeous but a nightmare to live with and the house is a dump however his two children are beautiful and well she isn’t cotsello for him anyway.

I found Zoe character is too good too be true, it’s nearly unreal for someone to be that kind-heart, incredibly patient and wise. She is devastated but ready to move on after months of silence and no explanation from her would be hubby.
It was a fun take on starting over with great characters and a plot that rolled along smoothly straight through to the end. They may as well have lost their father, too, for Ryan Miller is so wrapped-up in his grief that he barely notices his two attention-starved children.
The only character I did not like was Jason, the man who left Zoe at the altar. I had my doubts about this book since the first chapter, but I persisted. And that put me off. Zoe can’t find any sign of him. She is encouraged to join a running club by its gorgeous captain, but finds her mysterious compulsion to exercise ends shortly after the first session.
And except for his ‘world-class’ arse and his deep devotion for his gone wife, I just didn’t find him good enough for Zoe. Why is this even in the book? With plenty of surprises along the way, this is a super enjoyable book with an awesome cast of characters, led by Lauren who gets herself into all sorts of awkward situations. Refresh and try again. He comes across as cowardly and selfish and there were a couple of times that I felt as though he deserved a good, hard slap from Zoe.

I adored the character of Zoe and how she adapted costfllo her new life in the Sta The Nearly-weds is the second book of Jane Costello’s that I have both read and fallen in love with. It was like being on a very enjoyable, but very topsy-turvy, rollercoaster.
I thought Zoe was the perfect character to carry the story. Who knows, maybe one day we’ll have a chance to see it. One day Emma finds a list scribbled on a crumpled piece of paper which she wrote with her friends 15 years ago.
Samantha’s boyfriend has announced he’s leaving, out of the blue. And that I have.
But maybe he’s just the uane to end Evie’s run of dating men only for a few months. As for the males characters She seemed happy in her own skin and I just loved her.
